all the ways to get a great latte

our story
brainchild of a coffee nerd and matcha girlie
first harvest matcha. single origin coffee. fresh syrups.
how it all started
matcha made by a coffee nerd, for people who think they do not like matcha.
Lattest started with an artist and a student who could not function behind a computer screen.
Before there was a cart, there were the coffee shops of Austin. I rotated through all of them to study and to draw, and somewhere between the sketchbook pages and finals I fell for third wave coffee. The craft of it. How much thought could live inside one cup. I always dreamed of owning a coffee shop of my own, for the making, for the experimenting, and for the people a good shop gathers around it.
Then I went to Kyoto, the home of matcha itself, and had matcha for the first time as a soft serve cone.
I did not like it.
It was strong with dry notes like wine. It tasted like something you had to learn to love. An acquired taste.
So I started asking the coffee question about matcha. What happens if it gets the same care? One origin, picked and ground with intention. Water at the right temperature. Ratios you can repeat. Syrups made fresh, never bought. Recipes that explore tastes. The answer became this cart.
I love creating things people will love, and things that change perspectives. If your first matcha was like mine, let me make you a second one.
